Missouri Paracon – A Weekend of Paranormal Fun

Greetings Paranormal Circle members!

So much has happened the last few weeks, I wanted to catch up with everyone! 

First of all, the first Missouri Paracon was an absolute blast. I honestly got pretty emotional seeing so many Paranormal Circle tees there. We absolutely dominated this convention, ha! We also signed up a lot of new members! We did snag a group photo, and if you look in the back, Juwan Mass crashed our photo. Just for that, I’m going to have him on a PC livestream soon. 😉 

Missouri Paracon is partly organized by some of the folks from the beloved Michigan Paracon that used to take place in the upper peninsula, and it definitely had the same camaraderie as Michigan. I was so wrapped up in everything going on and seeing everybody, I literally didn’t go outside for the full three days. Which was probably a good thing – it was 20 degrees out there. 

I’ve attached some photos of the weekend. One of the highlights was having a lovely dinner with Adam, Steve, Dave and Juwan. It was so great to catch up with them. There are some people you work with who become family, and these are those people to me. There were also bands each night – ‘KC/DC’ and ‘Disco Dick and the Mirrorballs.’ I ended up enjoying them way more than I thought I would, and I know I closed it down with a few of you each night! (I also danced, which I REALLY try not to do in public, but I broke my own rule, haha.) 

Also, special shout out to Grandma Joanne. She is a figure that would come to Michigan Paracon every year with her daughter and Granddaughter. And each year, she brings a photo album from the year before for us to sign. When she found out Michigan Paracon was going to be ending, she was devastated. Thankfully, the Missouri Paracon folks gifted her with tickets to Missouri, and she joined us for her 91st birthday! In the end, they gifted her lifetime tickets to Missouri Paracon. I think she’s going to need a table to sign autographs next year. 

Please don’t forget we have a livestream this Friday the 14th. The next day, I leave for vacation for TWO weeks, so I may be a little absent. But I promise a full update upon my return.

We have some important dates coming up:

March 14th will be a Paranormal Circle livestream. We can use that time to catch up on all the trips from the last few months, Haunted Road episodes,and whatever else you want to chat about. The next morning, I head to Hawaii for two weeks, so I’ll be sure to explore some haunted locations there and report back!

On April 12th at 9pm EST, I will be doing a Paranormal Circle members only livestream investigation from the basement of Lizzie’s Coffee in Fall River. Amanda Millette, who has done extensive research on Lizbeth, will be joining me for the investigation. Lizzie’s is the former home next door to the Lizzie Borden house. In 1848, Lizzie’s great aunt, Landwick Borden, tragically dropped two of her three children (one aged six months and the other three years) in the cistern in the basement where they drowned. She then went upstairs and took her own life with a straight razor. The basement is very active and has only recently been accessible to investigators. We will be collecting donations to a postpartum depression charity throughout the livestream, which is all the owner requested in exchange for access.

Tombstone: A Hauntingly Active Experience

Greetings from Tombstone, Paranormal Circle members!

We had an amazing time in Tombstone, AZ. I was overjoyed at how many Paranormal Circle members were in attendance, and I’m pretty sure we recruited a few more!

Tombstone is a magical place for me. I’m not sure why, but it’s one of the only places I’ve been that I feel a spiritual connection to. Perhaps I was a saloon girl working at the Birdcage in a past life.

It was also incredibly active from a paranormal standpoint. People got a lot of EVPs and interactions with their spirit boxes and Ovilus devices. A few even reported shadow figures in both the Good Enough Mine and Boothill Graveyard. In addition to those spots, we investigated the OK Corral, Schieffelin Hall and Undertaker Coffee-all extremely active.

For those who could not make it, we’ve already scheduled a return for next April 17th through the 20th. Watch for that announcement, and don’t forget to use your Paranormal Circle discount when you sign up! (We can’t retroactively apply that if you forget!)

Haunted Artifacts Live Stream Walkthrough

Hi Paranormal Circle members! 

I wanted to make a little video giving a grand tour of my attic – which is the most unfinished space in my house, so don’t judge me, ha!

We’re very excited to bring you this new live webcam facing some historical and potentially haunted artifacts I have collected over the years. This is a very SMALL sampling of what I have and the plan is to switch them out occasionally. That being said, if you have something you’d like to donate to the cause – let us know and you could see it here! 

Some notes on the space in addition to what’s highlighted in the video: 

My cats get the zoomies on a nightly basis. If you hear what sounds like animals running around, it’s most likely them in the adjacent playroom. 

As you can see, we are not up right up against other houses. If you hear voices at night, that’s not normal. 

If you hear strange thumps or sounds coming from within the attic space – that’s also NOT normal. 

The traffic sound in the distance can definitely cause audible matrixing and sound like voices over the camera.

I’ve experimented with what you can hear in the attic. You can’t hear us talking from below, (thankfully.) But, you can hear us walking on the floor directly beneath this space, and you can hear the bathroom door open and close, the water running from the shower/toilet, etc. It’s pretty clear what that is though. 

Finally – I don’t declare any of these artifacts “officially” haunted. I have experienced activity around some of them personally. Some were sent to me because they were reportedly haunted, and others – I’m just curious about. I think this is such a unique experience that we can all have together, and I’m so looking forward to learning from it. In the future, we’ll definitely be doing livestream investigations from this area and of these objects, to see if we can learn more together.
